| so i'm sharing the experience..
spent 15 minutes listening to 85 y.o. woman describing the inflammed folds in her rectum. the story included details about her wiping technique and her vaginal hygiene.
what could be worse? oh yeah, seeing it. no worries though, i acted professional and empathetic because one day i will turn 85 and then who will i call about that?

| today my fortune cookie read: never depend on others to make you happy. you can do it yourself.
"almost 2 am at the 24 hour study lounge..just another typical saturday. been up since 6:30 in the morning doing asthma screenings (do you cough/wheeze after exercise? have you been told you have asthma) and rushed straight to work at cvs where people bombarded me with questions: over the counter eczema recommendations (no sorry only short term symptomatic relief), what is this pus-filled bump on my gumline (please see dr. asap), bloody stools from hemorrhoids or anti-diarrhea meds i bought, brittle yellow nails by chance calcium supplement induced (no, just genetics--fungus perhaps?). did i mention it was 100 degrees today and a dust storm turned the sky dark grey and blue-black...."
